Ultrasonic Welding Systems

The 2000 Series Systems are appropriate for all production situations and all provide fast, easy and efficient assembly. They are designed for use in manual, semi-automated, or fully automated environments and with most material handling devices and can be interfaced with external devices and controls (i.e., PLCs/PCs). The actuator may be mounted directly to a machine frame, with a fixed support on a column or hub, or as a stand-alone system on a base with ergonomic light-force palm button switches.

2000t/ae Ultrasonic Welding Systems -Weld by Time 2000t/ae systems provide time mode operation. They include the 2000 Series user interface with 4-line vacuum fluorescent display designed for ease of use in setup, operation, and troubleshooting. The systems have enhanced data capabilities for configuration and information management. They include the improved analog power supply module with Branson’s patented closed loop circuitry, providing enhance performance, consistency, and reliability.

2000ea/ae Ultrasonic Welding Systems - Modes: Time, Energy, Amplitude Branson’s 2000ea/ae ultrasonic assembly system is for users operating in the time, energy, energy compensation, or peak power welding modes, providing value for applications requiring a high level of process control and weld quality. In addition, the 2000ea/ae systems feature Branson’s patented Amplitude Stepping.

2000d/aed Ultrasonic Welding Systems - Modes: Time, Energy, Amplitude, Distance Branson’s 2000d/aed offers versatility, superior performance, ease of use, and improved data management. The 2000d has up to five operating modes: time, energy, peak power, collapse, and absolute distance, and features an improved version of the closed-loop Advanced ultrasonic power supply, built-in patented amplitude stepping, and a higher-performance converter for faster welding.

2000f/aef System - Modes: Time, Energy, Amplitude, Distance, Force Branson’s 2000f/aef sets a new standard for users who want to optimize welding results utilizing force and/or amplitude stepping, allowing users to program actual weld force and velocity. Conventional modes including distance, time, energy, energy compensation, and peak power are included. Multiple modes are valuable for applications requiring a high level of process control and weld quality. In addition, the system features improved power supply technology with Branson’s patented closed loop circuitry, providing enhanced performance, consistency, and reliability. The 2000f also has enhanced data capabilities for configuration and information management.

2000 IW/IW+ Ultrasonic Welding Systems Branson Integrated Welders are self-contained ultrasonic plastics assembly systems that combine power supply, controls, indicators, and welding stand in a compact bench unit to conserve work space, ease setup, simplify operation, and facilitate relocation.

The 2000LP Low Power Systems are Branson’s latest offering for applications with power requirements of 500 Watts or less. The 2000LP utilizes Branson’s patented circuitry with closed loop amplitude control to provide maximum process control. The versatile 2000LP units can be used with their appropriate hand-held devices or can be connected directly to a converter/booster/horn stack for use in automation.

The 2000 Series Hand-Held Ultrasonic Welders are compact, lightweight tools used to spot weld or stake large, complex parts and those with hard-to-reach joint areas. With pistol grip models, the trigger switch is located on the grip; barrel grip models have the trigger switch located on the side of the barrel. All units may be operated in an un-timed mode with the 2000LP power supply set for continuous operation, utilizing the trigger switch; or in a timed or energy mode using the 2000LP power supply controller.
